4. Align the fixation bolt and nut so that the splitting cross is drawn upwards.
5. Secure the end position by a screwdriver and tighten it.
Area of use
The appliance may only be used for splitting firewood. The split material must have the following dimensions:
- Minimum diameter: 120 mm
Maximum diameter: 300 mm
- Splitting wood along fibres is allowed only.
- Risk of split wood getting squeezed.
- The squeezed piece of wood can be released by tapping the log.
- Cutting the split log out is prohibited!
Split wood length setting
Depending on the splitter type, various wood lengths may be split:
Operation
1. Start the engine by pressing the green switch button. CAUTION! Make sure the engine rotation direction is appropriate for the
400 V option!
2. Keep the feeder cable as short as possible for the 230 V models and choose as big cross section as possible.
3. When the temperature is low, let the splitter run idle for app. 15 minutes to enable the oil to warm up to an appropriate
temperature.
4. Put the split material on the table and hold it using the clamping plates on the lever.
5. Splitting will start by pressing both levers down.
6. After splitting is finished, lift at least one lever and the splitter post will automatically go up.
Operating the log splitter by two persons with one holding the wood and the other pressing the camping plates is strictly
prohibited. Blocking the lever (camping plate) is also prohibited.
Lift setting
The operating power may be increased by shortening the splitting knife
backward movement for logs smaller than app. 50 cm and if there are more logs.
Proceed as follows:
Put a short log on the splitter table and lower the splitting knife to app. 2 cm
above the log.
Switch the splitter off (red button on the switch and unplug the appliance). Now
you can shorten the backward movement using a side-attached rod by fixing the
rod in the required position using the adjusting screw.
